Introductory Classes
Learning Yoga is a progressive endeavor.
 
West Side Yoga offers Introductory classes for those new to the Iyengar method. These classes  emphasize the basic standing, seated and restorative poses, by which the practitioner begins to develop firmness, proper alignment, flexibility and deep relaxation.
Students are required to practice what they learn at home.
In due time, students will move into one of the Level 1 classes.
 
 
These classes are appropriate for anybody age 17 and up, who are free of serious health problems. Class sizes are small and tend to fill quickly.
 
Introductory Classes are held periodically.
